Our second year here and will be returning again. Last year, family of 5 with teens friends: this year 16 with extended family. A little piece of Heaven. Location on the river is perfect. House is fresh and contemporary, beautifully renovated, has everything you need, all period French features preserved. Could not ask for more. And all those involved delightful to liaise with. If you're like me, and you ask your best friends (who also love to travel) for recommendations about special places to stay, then let me whisper "Shhh, stay here! Book now! Let it be our secret!!" But how can you keep a secret to yourself when Moon River fills your heart with joy! Our 3 generational family of 12 planned a 40th wedding anniversary here. Every hope we anticipated, exceeded our expectation. So much so that we extended our stay to a second week - and we plan to return again. The house itself is lovingly restored, with a kitchen any chef would swoon over. The manicured front and back yards offered multiple choices for private dining, and views from all the windows captured the light over the river or the gorgeous pool. Both the owners and on-site managers are a delight! We arrived as guests and left as friends. You will feel the same hospitality and welcome. This place is a treasure.

Moon River is one of the best places we've ever stayed! The location is amazing, the accommodations are generous and absolutely beautiful. The bathrooms and kitchen are very modern and clean while retaining the charm of the old house. And the hosts are so pleasant, kind, and easy to communicate with. Our stay there was very memorable and at the top of our favorite places to visit! I highly recommend...you'll never want to leave!
